DE2307 FORUM 2
INSTRUCTIONS
You will apply your knowledge from Block 2 “Warfare in
the 21st Century” specifically: AirSea Battle, implications of drones in
Counterterrorism, the debate on Cyberwar, and Dual Status Commander in the
context of Defense Support of Civil Authorities. Forum 2 is individual
work -- no group products. I will pre-load readings required for each
question in the relevant hall/room in the forum. All of these readings
are from the Block 2 reading that you should have already done. There are no
new readings associated with this forum. You are free to use outside
resources as appropriate.
You can address the questions in any order, and every
student does not need to address every question. However, I hope you find
all the questions interesting enough to do so – it’s all about the dialogue!
“Meets Standards” Expectations: You must initially
address at least three different questions with a post (of no more than 300
words) for each of your selected questions. You must make your three
initial posts no later than 0800EDT 29 AUG. You may make more than three
initial posts. NOTE: You must answer the Dual Status Commander (DSCA)
question as one of your three initial selections. You must make at least
two responsive posts (of no more than 250 words each) that address any other
student’s initial post on any of the questions, no later than the end of the
forum. You may make more than two responsive posts. NOTE: One of the two
required responses must be to the question you did not select as the topic
of your initial individual posts.
